Stud Owner's Description
Wyara Poll Merino Stud was formed in 2020 with the purchase of 47 Greenfields Poll stud ewes and stud ram Poll Boonoke 190058, and first registered in 2023. The Mullighan family have been farming and breeding their own merinos in the Hilltown/Andrews district in the Mid North of SA, since 1950. Sires were sourced from the Riverina in NSW to soften the wool and lower the micron. Breeding long, deep bodied, large framed sheep with good wool coverage, which produce heavy fleeces of beautiful, soft white crimped wool with a 20 micron average. Enquiries and inspections are welcome all year round
