This  stud  was  founded  and  registered  in  April  2010,  by  Glen  &  Margot  Rubie  trading  as  Lachlan  Merinos,  by  the  purchase  of  1  ram  from  GULLENGAMBLE,  F.  No.  4865  (ROEMAHKITA  POLL  bred),and  the  transfer  of  60  ewes  from  LACHLAN  MERINOS,  F.  No.  5022.  Following  registration,  50  semen  doses  purchased  from  COROMANDEL,  Poll  F.  No.  553  in  2009  were  transferred  to  this  stud  from  LACHLAN  MERINOS,  F.  No.  5022.  In  2013,  Glen  &  Margot  Rubie  changed  the  trading  name  from  Lachlan  Merinos  to  Lachlan  Merinos  Pty  Ltd.
