History
This  stud  was  founded  in  October  1976,  by  a  family  partnership  trading  as  SG  Groves  and  Co.  by  the  purchase  of  5  rams  and  103  ewes  from  GLENROY  Poll  FN193.  In  October  2004  the  ownership  of  the  stud  was  changed  to  Yarrum  Valley  Pty  Ltd  trading  as  M.S.  &  V.  Groves.  In  November  2006  the  stud,  consisting  of  21  rams,  1614  ewes,  192  ram  lambs,  336  ewe  lambs  &  3785  semen  doses,  was  purchased  by  GB  &  P  Dewar,  trading  as  Strath  Haddon  Stud,  but  will  continue  to  be  run  as  a  separate  stud  entity.  Resigned  February  2014.
