This  stud  was  founded  in  January  and  registered  as  ELLENBROOK  FN4670  in  October  1993  by  John  Roberts  trading  as  Multiplex  Constructions  Pty  Ltd  by  the  purchase  of  50  ewes  and  97  embryos  from  ROCKBANK  FN3699  and  41  ewes  from  MERRYVILLE  FN56.  Additionally,  3  GLENARA  FN3482  ewes  and  16  ewes  (from  Merryville  embryos)  and  60  ewe  lambs  were  transferred  from  THE  GRANGE  MERINO  STUD  FN4208.  An  extensive  embryo  transfer  program  has  been  conducted  where  donor  ewes  are  inseminated  and  embryos  flushed  six  times  per  year.  The  donor  ewes  have  averaged  10  lambs  per  year  and  a  large  number  of  embryos  are  frozen  during  winter  and  transferred  the  following  year.  In  1994  the  stud  was  renamed  THE  GRANGE  SUPERFINE  MERINO  STUD.  A  dispersal  sale  was  held  in  October  2006  and  the  stud  was  resigned.
