This  stud  was  founded  by  Astrik  Pty  Ltd  in  October  1987,  by  the  purchase  of  rams  from  MOGILA  FN60,  MUMBLEBONE  FN63,  UARDRY  FN79  and  semen  from  BOONOKE  FN7,  BUNGAREE  FN110,  COLLINSVILLE  FN318,  CRANMORE  PARK  FN153,  EAST  BUNGAREE  FN115,  HADDON  RIG  FN48,  HAZELDEAN  FN383,  LOWANNA  FN3008,  MUNGADAL  FN15,  POOGINOOK  FN788,  WILLANDRA  FN87,  WILLURAH  FN1094  and  WONGA  FN794.  300  cast-for-age  ewes  were  purchased  from  BOONOKE  FN7,  BUNGAREE  FN110,  COLLINSVILLE  FN318,  CRANMORE  PARK  FN153,  EAST  BUNGAREE  FN115,  HADDON  RIG  FN48,  LOWANNA  FN3008,  POOGINOOK  FN788,  WILLANDRA  FN87,  WOODYARRUP  FN412,  and  200  ewes  from  MUMBLEBONE  FN63,  and  50  ewes  from  MURRUMBUCCA  FN1427.  On  4  December  1989,  the  stud  was  purchased  by  Multiplex  Constructions  Pty  Ltd.  Mr  John  Roberts  AO,  is  the  principal  of  both  Astrik  Pty  Ltd  and  Multiplex,  and  will  continue  to  control  the  stud.  In  1992,  150  ewes  were  involved  in  an  extensive  embryo  transfer  program  and  produced  1480  ewe  lambs  and  1585  ram  lambs.  Since  1990  an  extensive  embryo  transfer  program  has  been  conducted  where  donor  ewes  are  inseminated  and  embryos  flushed  six  times  per  year.  The  donor  ewes  have  averaged  10  lambs  per  year  and  a  large  number  of  embryos  are  frozen  during  winter  and  transferred  the  following  year.  A  dispersal  sale  was  held  in  October  2006  and  the  stud  was  resigned.
