History
This  stud  was  founded  in  January  1954,  by  SF  Jackson  and  sons,  RS  &  DJ  Jackson,  by  the  purchase  of  1  ram  and  10  ewes  from  VALLEYFIELD  FN9.  In  1956  all  sheep  purchased  from  VALLEYFIELD,  together  with  their  progeny,  were  discarded.  In  1978  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  DJ  &  A  Jackson  &  Sons.  By  1991  all  progeny  from  JALORAN  and  KOONWARRA  rams  had  been  discarded.  As  of  December  1994,  the  stud  is  owned  by  N  &  S  Jackson  trading  as  DJ  &  ND  Jackson  &  Co.  In  1998  all  progeny  from  COONONG  was  discarded.  In  February  2011,  the  stud,  consisting  of  4  rams,  405  ewes,  133  ram  lambs,  84  ewe  lambs  &  1000  semen  doses,  was  purchased  by  Wes  &  Briana  Lavender,  trading  as  W.H.  &  B.L.  Lavender.  This  stud  was  resigned  in  June  2017.
