History
This  stud  was  founded  in  July  1953  by  Shalimar  Pastoral  Co.  by  the  purchase  of  49  ewes  from  EGELABRA  FN32.  Later  in  1966  another  stud  was  founded  by  the  purchase  of  ewes  from  BUNDEMAR  (GENERAL)  FN12.  These  two  studs  remained  separate  until  March  1985  when  RK  &  AK  Chittleborough  and  Sons  purchased  the  two  studs,  combined  them  under  the  one  name  SHALIMAR  whilst  maintaining  the  families  apart;  (SHALIMAR-FINE)  and  (SHALIMAR-PEPPIN).  Resigned  22/8/02.
