This  stud,  SHAHS,  Poll  F.  No.  554,  was  founded  in  September  1975  by  S  Ralston  and  Son  by  the  purchase  of  55  ewes  from  EJANDING  Poll  FN443,  and  1  ram  from  COLLINSVILLE  Poll  FN105.  A  further  100  ewes  were  purchased  from  POLLVILLE  Poll  FN488,  in  the  same  year.  In  March  1985  the  complete  stud  of  GLENVAR  Poll  FN626,  consisting  of  3  rams,  230  ram  lambs,  725  in-lamb  ewes  and  240  ewe  lambs  was  purchased  and  incorporated  into  the  stud.  In  February  2011,  MG  &  PM  Blight,  owners  of  SEYMOUR  PARK,  Poll  F.  No.  1326  purchased  this  entire  stud,  comprising  57  rams,  1800  ewes,  500  ram  lambs  and  600  ewe  lambs  and  moved  from  Tammin  to  Highbury.  In  April  2012,  the  two  stud  strands,  SEYMOUR  PARK  POLL  &  SHAHS  POLL,  now  consisting  of  84  rams,  4002  ewes,  1410  ram  lambs  and  1623  ewe  lambs  were  amalgamated  under  the  name  SEYMOUR  PARK,  Poll  F.  No.  544.
