History
The  foundation  of  this  flock  was  laid  in  1917  when  Dr.  FM  House  purchased  100  CFA  ewes  from  NARROWANG  FN171  and  26  CFA  ewes  from  ILLAREEN  FN161,  together  with  2  rams  from  the  latter  stud.  The  stud  has  been  built  up  by  the  selection  from  the  foundation  ewes  and  those  subsequently  purchased  from  CONDEENA  FN227  and  ILLAREEN  FN161.  On  the  death  of  Dr.  FM  House  in  1936,  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  his  executors  and  in  1937,  handed  over  to  his  son,  DK  House.  In  1952,  DK  House  took  his  son  into  partnership  and  in  1953,  another  son  was  included.  In  1975  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  AK  House  and  Mrs  J.  House,  trading  as  DK  House  and  Sons.  In  1997  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  K  &  J  House  trading  as  DK  House  &  Sons.
