This  stud  was  established  in  1914  by  Frank  S.  Thompson,  by  the  purchase  of  200  4-tooth  ewes  from  BUNGAREE  FN110.  From  1926  until  31  December  1940,  the  stud  was  carried  on  by  Frank  S.  Thompson  and  Company.  Frank  S.  Thompson  died  in  1937  and  on  1  January  1941,  the  name  of  the  company  was  changed  to  Nardlah  Grazing  Company,  the  partners  therein  being  members  of  the  family  of  Frank  S.  Thompson.  In  1967  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  Pardoo  Holdings  Pty  Ltd,  which  continued  to  trade  as  Nardlah  Grazing  Company.  In  1990  all  the  stud  sheep  were  transferred  to  Minyarriegin  Pty  Ltd,  trustee  for  the  Nardlah  Trust,  trading  as  Nardlah  Grazing  Co.  Resigned  June  2011.
