History
This  stud  was  founded  in  October  1986  by  K  and  K  Curtis,  trading  as  Leyfields,  by  the  purchase  of  2  rams  and  100  ewes  from  LEWISDALE  Poll  FN531,  and  210  ewes  from  BELMONT  PARK  Poll  FN117,  and  105  ewes  (mated)  from  BALGUN  FN1434,  and  1  ram  from  KYLIE  Poll  FN403.  In  1991  the  ownership  was  changed  to  KI  Curtis  and  then  in  1992  changed  to  Leyfields  Genetics  Pty  Ltd.  Registration  lapsed  in  2001  and  in  June  2003  the  stud  was  re-registered  by  Ray  &  Helen  Lewis,  continuing  to  trade  as  Leyfields  Genetics  Pty  Ltd.
