History
This  stud  was  founded  in  November  1986  by  K  and  K  Curtis,  trading  as  Leyfields  by  the  purchase  of  2  rams  and  200  ewes  from  LEWISDALE  FN1675.  In  1991  ownership  was  changed  to  KI  Curtis  and  in  1992  changed  to  Leyfields  Genetics  Pty  Ltd.  Registration  lapsed  in  2001  and  in  June  2003  the  stud  was  re-registered  by  Ray  &  Helen  Lewis,  continuing  to  trade  as  Leyfields  Genetics  Pty  Ltd.  Resigned  July  2007.
