This  stud  was  founded  in  1954  by  RH  &  WN  Bairstow  by  the  purchase  of  1  ram  and  40  ewes  from  GOOLGUMBLA  FN42.  In  1962  RL  Bairstow,  a  son  of  the  original  partners,  was  taken  into  partnership  and  the  name  changed  to  RH  Bairstow  and  Co.  RH  Bairstow  died  in  September  1969,  the  stud  being  continued  by  his  Estate  and  son.  In  1997  the  stud  was  sold  to  The  Yaminga  Trust  trading  as  TJ  &  ML  Stone  &  Son  of  Borden.  In  September  2002,  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  BV,  HM  &  ST  Greenslade  trading  as  Bryzel  Pastoral  Co.  Resigned  November  2010.
