History
This  stud  was  founded  in  January  1955,  by  EH  Lee  Steere  by  the  acquisition  of  16  rams,  440  ewes  and  301  lambs  from  CHILIMONY  FN706.  In  1964  EH.  Lee  Steere  took  his  sons,  DJE  &  RRJ  Lee  Steere  into  partnership.  In  1980  the  trading  name  of  the  partnership  was  changed  to  Hawthornden.  Resigned  October  2009.
