History
This stud was founded in November 1982 by Digby Lee-Steere Pty Ltd trading as Chilimony-Bowes Stud by the purchase of 1 ram and 36 ewes from MIOURDIING Poll FN119, and 19 ewes from HASELEY Poll FN275. Following the transfer of 250 ewes from MIOURDING Poll FN119 in 1991, the stud name was changed from CHILIMONY-BOWES to GALENA POLLS retaining the original flock number, Poll FN882. In December 1997 Digby LeeSteere Pty Ltd trading as Galena Polls purchased the half of the stud owned by DK & LM Carew-Reid. Resigned as at December 2000.
