This  stud  was  founded  in  1934  by  JS  Jones  by  the  purchase  of  227  ewes  from  MEEROGOOLIA  FN277,  and  2  rams  from  ILLAREEN  FN161.  In  July  1947  JS  Jones  took  Mrs  M  Jones,  his  daughter  AL  Jones  and  his  sons,  AS,  LF  and  NS  Jones  into  partnership.  Following  the  death  of  JS  Jones  on  11  April  1951,  the  stud  was  carried  on  under  the  name  of  JS  Jones  and  Sons  by  the  other  members  of  the  partnership.  In  April  2006,  PARKLANDS,  FN3244,  consisting  of  32  rams,  1237  ewes,  188  ram  lambs  &  380  ewe  lambs,  was  purchased  by  JS  Jones  &  Sons  and  incorporated  into  the  EJANDING  stud.
