History
The  CARDO  stud  was  founded  in  1917  by  L.  Keamy  by  the  purchase  of  3  rams  and  90  cast-for-age  KOONOONA  FN120  ewes  from  KOONGA  FN275.  In  1958  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  TL  Keamy  and  his  sons,  trading  as  Tom  Keamy  and  Sons.  Following  the  dissolution  of  the  partnership  in  1979,  GL  Keamy,  Mrs  J.  Keamy  and  their  son,  RL  Keamy,  continued  the  stud  retaining  1083  rams  and  4015  ewes.  In  1980  the  trading  name  was  changed  to  Cardo  Stud.  Resigned  October  2006.
