This  stud  was  founded  at  Bodallin,  WA,  in  1943  when  HE  Sherlock  purchased  49  ewes  from  CIREN  FN1097  and  two  HUCKNULL  FN774,  rams  previously  purchased  by  WG  Brown.  In  1944  HE  Sherlock  took  his  son,  RF  Sherlock,  into  partnership  trading  as  Sherlock  and  Company.  The  stud  sheep  were  the  property  of  the  partnership  until  1949  when  RF  Sherlock  withdrew.  In  the  division  of  assets  RF  Sherlock  received  the  whole  of  the  stud  sheep,  the  registered  brands  and  ear-marks  and  all  records  pertaining  thereto.  These  were  then  transferred  to  his  property  at  South  Kumminin.  In  1960  the  stud  was  moved  to  Namban.  In  1973  all  sheep  in  BURLINGTON  Poll  FN61  were  transferred  to  this  stud.  Resigned  22/8/02.
