History
This  stud  was  founded  in  November  1954  by  HN  Higham  and  his  sons,  HN  Jnr  &  MM  Higham  by  the  transfer  of  180  ewes  from  BARRAMINNING,  FN148,  which  were  mated  with  a  ram  purchased  from  BOONOKE,  Poll  FN1.  In  1959  HN  Higham  Snr  withdrew  from  the  partnership.  The  stud  was  continued  by  his  sons  and  their  wives  in  partnership  and  the  name  of  HN  Higham  &  Sons  was  retained.  In  1963  the  partnership  was  dissolved  and  taken  over  by  HN  Higham  and  Sons.  In  1978  the  stud  was  re-organised  and  taken  over  by  his  sons  HN  &  DJ  Higham.  In  June  2013,  following  a  restructure  of  the  ownership,  a  portion  of  the  stud,  being  25  rams,  860  ewes,  95  ram  lambs  &  324  ewe  lambs  was  transferred  to  JH  &  SK  Higham  for  the  foundation  of  a  new  stud,  CULBIN  PARK,  Poll  F.  No.  1495.
