This  stud  was  founded  in  September  1955  by  LR  Sutherland  and  Sons  by  the  purchase  of  1  ram  and  45  ewes  from  LOXLEY  FN1255.  In  1991,  the  trading  name  was  changed  to  Sutherland  Grazing  Company.
