This  stud  was  founded  in  February  1994  and  registered  in  August  1994  by  Brett  and  Fiona  Johnston  trading  as  BH  &  FS  Johnston  by  the  transfer  of  4  rams  and  178  ewes  from  MERNA  FN1441  as  part  of  a  dissolution  of  partnership.  62  ram  lambs,  63  ewe  lambs  and  99  doses  of  semen  from  MERNA  FN1441,  were  included  in  the  transfer.  In  2004  150  ewes  were  tranferred  to  ARGYLE  PARK  POLL  FN  1199,  and  this  stud  was  resigned.
