This  stud  was  founded  in  March,  1959,  by  E.L.  Rodda  and  his  wife,  Mrs  N.I.  Rodda,  trading  as  E.  and  N.  Rodda,  by  the  purchase  of  50  ewes  from  BASIN  FARM,  SA,  Poll  F.  No.  29.  These  ewes  were  in-lamb  to  BASIN  FARM  and  COLLINSVILLE,  F.  No.  318,  rams.  In  1961,  all  sheep  purchased  from  BASIN  FARM,  Poll  F.  No.  29,  and  BOONOKE,  Poll  F.  No.  1,  together  with  their  progeny  were  discarded  from  the  stud.  E.  and  Mrs  N.  Rodda,  took  their  sons,  D.J.  and  B.E.  Rodda,  into  partnership  in  1962  and  1965  respectively.  Another  son,  I.0.  Rodda,  was  taken  into  partnership  in  July  1968  whilst  D.J.  Rodda  left  the  partnership  in  the  same  year.  In  1995,  the  trading  name  changed  to  Yaringa  Proprietors.  Resigned  17/3/00.
