History
This  stud  was  founded  in  March,  1958,  by  H.H.  and  H.S.  Wood  by  the  purchase  of  1  ram  and  55  in-lamb  ewes  from  KOONOONA,  SA,  F.  No.  120.  A  further  1  ram  and  20  ewes  were  purchased  from  KOONOONA,  F.  No.  120,  in  October,  1958.  In  1957,  H.H.  Wood  retired  from  the  partnership  and  the  stud  was  then  taken  over  by  H.S.  Wood  who  took  his  wife,  Mrs.  D.J.  Wood,  into  partnership.  Following  the  death  of  H.S.  Wood  in  1978,  the  stud  was  carried  on  by  his  wife  and  two  sons,  trading  as  D.J.  Wood  and  Sons.  In  1979,  the  partnership  was  changed  to  Woodoona  Proprietors.  Resigned  November  2014.
