This  stud  was  founded  in  September,  1950,  by  E.J.  &  W.G.  Nosworthy  by  the  purchase  of  1  ram  and  42  ewes  from  MT.  CONE,  F.  No.  1599.  In  1972,  M.E.  Nosworthy  purchased  E.J.  Nosworthy's  share  in  the  partnership  which  then  traded  as  W.G.  &  M.E.  Nosworthy.  Their  son,  William  Robert,  joined  the  partnership  in  1979,  trading  as  W.G.  Nosworthy  &  Co.  Purchases  until  1990  were  from  UARDRY,  F.  No.  79.  In  1999,  the  entire  ewe  flock  of  TEWINGA,  F.  No.  1074  was  purchased  from  the  Proude  family  with  a  selection  of  376  being  retained  and  mated  to  rams  from  GLENVILLE,  F.  No.  2583  and  TEWINGA,  F.  No.  1074.  Resigned  December  2010.
