This  stud  was  founded  in  October,  1966,  by  M.T.  and  B.M.  Kellock  by  the  purchase  of  25  ewes  from  THE  BLUFF,  SA,  Poll  F.  No.  112,  and  25  ewes  from  COLLINSVILLE,  SA,  Poll  F.  No.  105.  A  ram  purchased  from  FLAIRVILLE,  SA,  Poll  F.  No.  15,  in  September  1966,  and  50  ewes  purchased  from  MOUNT  GLENVIEW,  SA,  Poll  F.  No.  78,  in  November  of  the  same  year,  were  added  to  the  stud.  In  1987  stud  was  taken  over  by  sons  Graham  and  David  Kellock,  trading  as  Kellock  Bros.  In  January  2001  this  partnership  was  dissolved,  with  David  and  family  trading  as  D.L.  &  B.H.  Kellock,  continuing  with  a  half  share  of  the  stud.  In  2009  Jane  &  Greg  Kellock  were  brought  into  the  partnership,  under  the  trading  name  of  Kelvale  Proprietors.  In  2013  the  stud  relocated  to  Keith  to  be  overseen  by  Stephen  &  Peta  Kellock.
