This  stud  was  founded  in  August,  1989,  by  J.R.  Michell,  trading  as  Menai  Pastoral  Co,  by  the  purchase  of  50  (in  lamb)  ewes  from  GLEN  OAK,  F.  No.  4034,  52  (in  lamb)  poll  ewes  and  105  doses  of  semen  from  MOORUNDIE  PARK,  Poll  F.  No.  88,  2  rams  and  50  ewes  from  ORIENTAL  PARK,  F.  No.  3102,  4  poll  rams  and  55  poll  ewes  from  ORIENTAL  PARK,  Poll  F.  No.  759.  In  April  1995,  the  trading  name  changed  to  Hindmarsh  Park  Proprietors.  In  September  1995,  2  rams  and  54  doses  of  semen  were  purchased  from  CHARINGA,  F.  No.  4470.  As  at  30th  June  1997,  the  flock  consists  of  6  rams,  114  ram  lambs,  403  ewes  and  178  ewe  lambs.  In  December,  2001,  rams  disposed  of,  with  all  mixed  aged  ewes  and  ram  lambs  being  purchased  by  P.  &  A.L.  Hammat,  Spalding,  with  stud  name  and  prefix  being  transferred  to  P.  &  A.L.  Hammat.  Resigned  September  2004.
