This  stud  was  founded  in  July,  1969,  following  the  dissolution  of  MELTON,  F.  No.  811,  as  GLENSTRAE,  F.  No.  3320,  which  registration  was  discontinued  in  1983.  In  August  1991,  this  stud  Merino  flock  of  518  rams  and  1159  ewes,  which  has  been  maintained  since  its  establishment,  was  purchased  by  Wyncle  Pty  Ltd,  Peter  Marston  Pty  Ltd,  Norman  Marston  Pty  Ltd,  and  Yackatoon  Nominees  Pty  Ltd,  trading  as  Glenstrae  Pastoral  Co.  In  August  1992,  1  ram  was  purchased  from  HADDON  RIG,  F.  No.  48,  and  in  September  1994,  2  rams  were  again  purchased  from  Haddon  Rig.  GLENSTRAE  was  reregistered  in  September  1995,  with  an  additional  127  rams,  180  ram  lambs,  482  ewes  and  206  ewe  lambs  bred  from  the  flock.  Resigned  April  2013.
