This  stud  was  founded  in  November,  1969,  by  D.L.  Stockman  when  he  purchased  the  complete  stud  and  property  of  Mr.  R.  and  E.J.  Humphreys,  GLENOWIE,  SA,  F.  No.  938,  comprising  of  3  rams,  215  ewes  and  96  ewe  lambs.  At  the  same  time,  50  ewes  purchased  in  April  1966  from  BARTON  HILL,  SA,  F.  No.  519,  and  1  ram  purchased  in  September  1966  from  the  same  stud  were  taken  into  the  stud.  In  1972,  the  address  of  the  stud  was  changed  to  Hanson,  SA.  Following  transfer  of  the  majority  of  sheep  to  GLENOWIE,  Poll  F.  No.  1410,  this  stud  was  resigned  in  April  2010.
