This  stud  was  founded  in  1953  by  J.K.  Growden  and  his  son,  A.R.  Growden,  by  the  purchase  of  9  rams  and  100  ewes  from  ANAMA,  SA,  F.  No.  103.  In  1971,  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  A.R.  and  I.R.  Growden.  Resigned  December  2015.
