History
This  stud  was  founded  as  Wrixondale  in  July,  1983,  by  M.J.,  B.A.  &  R.M.B.  Allen  by  the  purchase  of  3  rams  and  100  ewes  from  HADDON  RIG,  F.  No.  48.  Further  ewes  and  a  ram  have  been  purchased  from  HADDON  RIG  and  used  within  the  stud.  A  ram  purchased  from  MERRYVILLE,  F.  No.  56,  has  been  taken  into  the  stud  and  its  progeny  have  been  kept  as  a  separate  family.  Following  the  death  of  M.J.  Allen  in  1988,  the  stud  was  carried  on  by  his  son,  R.M.B.  Allen,  trading  as  R.  &  B.  Allen.  In  June  1996,  the  stud  moved  from  Bairnsdale  to  Glenthompson.  In  October  1997,  the  stud  name  changed  to  WINTOC.  The  stud  moved  from  Glenthompson  to  Carisbrook  in  late  2006  and  was  resigned  in  2015.
