This  stud  was  founded  in  March,  1963,  by  W.J.  Gall  and  his  wife,  Mrs.  R.  Gall,  trading  as  Wilson's  Creek  Pastoral  Co,  by  the  purchase  of  1  ram  and  70  ewes  from  MIRANI,  F.  No.  732.  At  the  same  time,  82  ewes  were  selected  from  the  WILSON'S  CREEK  flock.  The  latter  flock  was  founded  during  1954  and  1955  when  1080  HAVILAH,  F.  No.  578,  bred  ewes  were  purchased  from  Gall  and  Son,  'Tycannah',  Moree,  NSW.  In  1956,  96  of  these  ewes  were  selected  and  mated  with  rams  from  HAVILAH,  F.  No.  578.  In  1960,  a  ram  was  obtained  from  MIRANI,  F.  No.  732,  and  a  further  2  rams  were  purchased  in  1962.
