History
This  stud  was  founded  in  1948  by  R.S.  Blanch  by  the  purchase  of  1  ram  and  50  ewes,  14  of  which  were  in-lamb,  from  MIRANI,  NSW,  F.  No.  732.  After  the  death  of  R.S.  Blanch  on  4th  May  1958,  the  stud  was  carried  on  by  Mrs.  O.  Blanch  and  her  sons,  N.R.  and  L.R.  Blanch,  trading  under  the  name  of  West  Vale  Stud.  In  June  1970,  the  ownership  of  the  stud  was  changed  to  L.R.  &  J.E.  Blanch  following  the  sale  of  portion  of  the  stud  to  N.R.  Blanch.
