This  stud  was  founded  in  October,  1966,  by  C.R.  Naismith  &  Sons  by  the  purchase  of  1  ram,  55  ewes  and  43  lambs  from  BURRABOGIE,  NSW,  Poll  F.  No.  259.  In  1991,  A.F.  Naismith  terminated  his  interest  in  the  partnership  of  C.R.  Naismith  &  Son  and  transferred  his  1/3  interest  in  the  Poll  Flock  No.  422  to  C.R.  and  N.C.  Naismith  who  will  continue  to  trade  as  C.R.  Naismith  &  Son.  The  name  of  the  stud  was  also  changed  from  COWAL  PARK  Poll  to  WANTWOOD  Poll.  Resigned  September  2005.
