This  stud  was  founded  in  April,  1942,  by  R.L.  &  S.  Reynolds  by  the  purchase  of  2  rams  and  54  ewes  from  the  estate  of  R.  Leigo,  Mount  Mercer,  Vic,  and  2  rams  from  MOUNT  HESSE,  Vic,  F.  No.  1697.  Following  the  death  of  R.L.  Reynolds  in  1962,  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  S.  Reynolds,  his  wife,  Mrs.  E.M.  Reynolds,  and  his  son,  J.T.L.  Reynolds.  In  1980,  all  BARUNAH  PLAINS,  F.  No.  1703,  stock  were  discarded  from  the  stud.  Since  the  death  of  Mr.  S.  Reynolds  in  1986,  the  family  partnership  continues,  now  trading  as  Tyburn  Pastoral  Company  Pty.  Ltd.  Resigned  September  2006.
