History
This  stud  was  founded  in  June,  1962,  by  the  partnership  of  A.G.,  M.J.,  P.H.  and  P.J.  Ritter,  trading  as  Tulagi  Pastoral  Co,  by  the  selection  of  200  ewes  from  a  purchase  of  665  ewes  in-lamb  from  YARRAWIN,  NSW,  F.  No.  555.  In  January  2006  the  stud  name  was  changed  from  TULORAN  to  DUNUMBRAL.  In  January  2013  the  trading  name  changed  from  Tulagi  Pastoral  Co  to  The  Downs  (Gurley)  Pastoral  Co.
