This  stud  was  founded  in  November,  1978,  by  Donald  Thomas  McClure  &  Co.,  by  the  purchase  of  1  ram  and  52  ewes  from  BELBOURIE,  F.  No.  1794.  The  stud  was  registered  in  1996.  In  2002  the  ownership  changed  to  W.T.  McClure.
