History
This  stud  was  founded  in  January  1995  by  Bob  and  Mary-Ann  Brown,  trading  as  R.W.  and  M.A.  Brown  by  the  purchase  of  1  ram  and  25  ewes  from  BINDAWARRA,  F.No.  3892.  During  1996  &  1997  a  further  2  rams  and  50  ewes  were  purchased  from  BINDAWARRA,  F.  No.  3892.  In  the  years  1994-1997,  330  semen  doses  were  also  purchased  from  BINDAWARRA,  F.  No.  3892.  In  April  2012,  following  the  death  of  Robert  Brown,  the  ownership  was  changed  to  Estate  R.W.  &  M.A.  Brown.  The  whole  of  The  Trossachs  stud  was  transferred  to  G  Simpson  &  A  Howgate  on  the  purchase  of  all  the  stud  sheep,  totalling  1102,  in  2013.  This  stud  was  resigned  in  May  2023.
