This  stud  was  founded  in  1954  by  C.  and  E.  McGauchie  by  the  selection  of  420  ewes  from  BILLABONG,  F.  No.  572.  These  ewes  were  mated  with  8  rams  from  BOONOKE,  Poll  F.  No.  1.  In  1985,  consolidation  of  the  stud  was  completed,  with  the  transfer  of  300  ewes  from  MCGAUCHIE,  F.  No.  1746,  this  stud  having  been  founded  in  1932  by  C.  and  E.  McGauchie,  with  ewes  and  rams  from  WANGANELLA,  F.  No.  83,  and  rams  from  BUNDEMAR,  F.  No.  11,  and  HADDON  RIG,  F.  No.  48.
