History
This  stud  was  founded  in  February,  1985,  by  R.W.  &  J.R.  Robertson,  trading  as  The  Tim  Robertson  Family  Trust,  by  the  purchase  of  1  ram  from  GRATHLYN,  F.  No.  1885,  and  300  ewes  from  flock  approved  by  official  inspection.  In  January  2011,  the  entire  stud,  consisting  of  12  rams,  300  ewes,  40  ram  lambs,  140  ewe  lambs  &  500  semen  doses,  was  purchased  by  Noel  &  Lyndsay  Henderson,  trading  as  Avington  Farm  Pty  Ltd,  and  relocated  from  Armidale,  NSW  to  Sidonia,  VIC.  On  the  same  property,  the  owners  also  run  AVINGTON,  F.  No.  4902  &  AVINGTON,  Poll  F.  No.  1289,  however  TEANGI  SUPERFINE  will  continue  to  be  developed  and  run  as  a  separate  stud  entity.  In  August  2020  the  stud  name  was  changed  from  Teangi  Superfine  to  Avington.  This  stud  was  resigned  in  December  2023.
