This  stud  was  founded  about  1873  by  the  late  Alexander  Armstrong  when  he  acquired  sheep  from  WARRAMBEEN,  Vic.  (see  F.  No.  1709).  In  1919,  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  Alexander  Armstrong's  son,  W.  Armstrong,  and  taken  to  'Sleat  Bank',  Hamilton,  Vic.  In  the  early  1900's  a  WINTON,  F.  No.  Tas.  1,  ram  was  used  and  later  rams  were  purchased  from  BARUNAH  PLAINS,  F.  No.  1703,  apart  from  2  rams  from  CARNGHAM,  F.  No.  1281,  and  2  rams  from  TRAWALLA,  F.  No.  141.  The  stud  and  property  were  purchased  in  October  1969  by  Wharema  Pty.  Ltd.  In  January  1990,  the  stud  was  sold  to  Sleat  Bank  Pastoral  Co.  Resigned  November  2000.
