History
This  stud  was  founded  about  1869  by  J.  &  W.  Crawford  by  the  purchase  of  ewes  and  rams  from  James  White,  'Woodhouse  Estate',  Vic.  In  1948,  L.W.  Crawford  acquired  the  stud  from  his  father,  W.J.  Crawford,  a  son  of  one  of  the  founders,  comprising  152  ewes.  Twelve  of  these  ewes  were  bred  by  WINTON,  Tas,  and  later  30  ewes  were  obtained  from  the  same  stud.  In  1961,  L.W.  Crawford  took  his  wife,  Mrs.  M.I.  Crawford,  into  partnership.  In  1973,  L.W.  Crawford  took  his  son,  W.A.  Crawford,  into  partnership  trading  as  Sierra  Park.  In  1990,  Sierra  Park  Partnership  was  dissolved  and  is  now  trading  as  Sierra  Park  Pty.  Ltd.
