History
This  stud  was  founded  in  April,  1978,  by  R.A.  Blanch  and  Co.  by  the  purchase  of  1  ram  and  27  ewes  from  KOONWARRA,  NSW,  F.  No.  1267.  Following  the  death  of  R.A.  Blanch  in  1984,  the  ownership  changed  to  Mrs.  A.J.  Blanch.  In  1988,  Mrs.  A.J.  Blanch  remarried  and  the  stud  was  then  run  by  M.  &  A.  van  Eyk,  trading  as  Shalimar  Park  Merino  Stud.  Resigned  May  2005.
