History
This  stud  was  founded  in  1905  by  F.C.  Coy  by  the  purchase  of  about  300  ewes  and  a  number  of  rams  from  CARNGHAM,  Vic,  F.  No.  1281.  Until  1945,  only  rams  from  CARNGHAM,  F.  No.  1281,  and  BARUNAH  PLAINS,  Vic,  F.  No.  1703,  were  introduced.  No  outside  introduction  of  ewes  has  been  made.  In  1941,  this  stud  was  taken  over  by  a  family  company  trading  as  Salt  Creek  Pastoral  Company.  The  registration  of  the  stud  lapsed  in  1969  and  was  reregistered  in  1977.
