This  stud  was  founded  in  October  1981,  by  E.D.  McDonald  &  Son  by  the  purchase  of  3  rams  from  KOONWARRA,  F.  No.  1267,  and  50  ewes  from  TULANGI,  F.  No.  996.  OJD  was  detected  on  'Royalla'  Queanbeyan,  17th  August  1998.  The  property  was  sold  and  all  sheep  except  160  stud  ewes  were  disposed  of  in  November  1999.  Stud  ewes  were  run  on  a  leased  property  until  90  were  tested  3  times  negative  to  OJD  and  were  then  inseminated  with  purchased  frozen  semen,  flushed  and  the  embryos  transferred  according  to  protocol  for  the  importation  of  embryos  into  Australia.  The  embryos  were  transferred  into  ewes  purchased  with  'Glenroy'  Wallendbeen  and  the  PFC  tested  negative  when  the  OJD  status  assessment  of  'Glenroy'  was  made.  The  donor  ewes  were  disposed  of.
