This  stud  was  founded  in  1924  by  W.  H.  Treweeke  and  Sons  by  the  transfer  of  about  1,000  ewes  of  the  tops  of  the  EULALIE  flock  (not  F.  No's.  35  or  36),  chiefly  PEPPIN  bred  on  exactly  the  same  lines  as  EULALIE  (grade),  F.  No.  35.  At  the  same  time,  20  rams  from  EULALIE  (grade),  F.  No.  35,  and  EULALIE  (PEPPIN),  F.  No.  36,  were  transferred  to  the  ROSSMORE  flock.  The  tops  of  the  young  ewes  from  the  EULALIE  (PEPPIN),  F.  No.  36,  flock  were  added  annually  to  the  ROSSMORE  selected  flock.  In  1960,  the  partnership  of  W.H.  Treweeke  studs  was  dissolved.  The  stud  was  then  taken  over  by  W.H.C.  Treweeke  and  his  wife,  Mrs.  P.C.  Treweeke,  and  at  the  same  time  the  EULALIE,  F.  No.  35,  stud  was  merged  with  ROSSMORE  and  the  stud  continued  under  the  name  of  the  latter  but  with  Flock  No.  35.  In  2002  the  owner's  name  changed  from  W.H.C.  &  P.C.Treweeke  to  Rossmore  Agriculture.
