This  stud  was  founded  in  1938  by  C.  Diprose  and  his  son,  R.N.  Diprose,  by  the  purchase  of  80  ewes  from  C.  Atkins,  'Fairview',  Greenethorpe,  NSW,  and  1  ram  from  the  EUALDRIE,  NSW,  F.  No.  851.  C.  Atkins  founded  his  stud  on  ewes  purchased  from  HOMEWOOD,  NSW,  F.  No.  531,  which  were  mated  with  a  ram  purchased  from  ESHCOL,  NSW,  F.  No.  568.  In  1959,  R.N.  Diprose  acquired  his  father's  share  of  the  stud  and  formed  a  company  with  his  wife.  In  1980,  a  family  company  was  formed  trading  as  Rocklyn  Pty  Limited.
