This  stud  was  founded  in  1954  by  J.E.  Harvey  by  the  purchase  of  69  ewes  from  WARRAMBEEN,  Vic,  F.  No.  1709,  and  1  ram  from  SALT  CREEK,  Vic,  F.  No.  2249.  In  1966,  J.E.  Harvey  took  his  wife,  Mrs.  G.F.J.  Harvey,  into  partnership.  In  1971,  G.W.  Harvey  and  Miss  J.E.  Harvey  were  taken  into  partnership.  Following  the  death  of  J.E.  Harvey  in  January  1984,  the  stud  has  been  carried  on  by  a  family  partnership  trading  as  J.E.  &  G.  Harvey.
