This  stud  was  founded  in  April,  1972,  when  700  in-lamb  ewes  were  transferred  from  BOONOKE,  NSW,  F.  No.  7,  and  the  selection  of  83  ewes  from  the  PEPPINELLA  original  stud  flock.  These  had  been  mated  with  WANGANELLA,  F.  No.  83,  bred  rams.  The  ewes  were  the  progeny  of  sheep  in  the  original  PEPPINELLA  stud,  which  was  founded  at  Wanganella  in  1958  by  Austin  Wanganella  Co.  Pty.  Ltd.  The  history  of  this  stud  is  set  out  in  Volume  XLV11.  In  1968,  the  stud  was  moved  from  Wanganella  property  to  Warriston.  However,  the  registration  was  cancelled  in  1970  with  some  of  the  sheep  being  transferred  to  respective  parent  studs  and  some  being  sold.  In  June  2000,  F.S.  Falkiner  &  Sons  Pty.  Ltd.  was  sold  by  News  Limited  to  C.A.  &  L.  Bell  Commodities  Corporation,  and  continue  to  trade  as  F.S.  Falkiner  &  Sons  Pty.  Ltd.  In  2008,  the  entire  PEPPINELLA,  F.  No.  2628  stud  was  transferred  back  to  WANGANELLA,  F.  No.  83,  from  whence  it  had  originated  in  1958.  Resigned  October  2009.
