This  stud  was  founded  in  September,  1966,  by  J.F.  and  J.W.  Parks  by  the  purchase  of  14  rams  and  407  ewes  from  WONGA,  NSW,  F.  No.  794.  A  further  purchase  of  297  ewes  with  lambs  at  foot  was  made  from  the  same  stud  later  in  the  same  year.  In  July  1969,  J.F.  and  J.W.  Parks  sold  the  entire  stud  to  their  son,  Ken,  and  his  wife,  who  now  trade  as  K.J.  and  P.A.  Parks.  In  1981,  the  stud  name  was  changed  from  FOUR  WINDS  to  PARKS.  In  1996,  the  stud  name  changed  to  PARKS  MERINOS.  In  October  2007,  the  stud  consisting  of  11  rams,  283  ewes,  70  ram  lambs  &  181  ewe  lambs  was  purchased  by  Chris  Barry,  trading  as  Redwood  Associates  and  relocated  from  Wakool,  NSW  to  Woorndoo  VIC.  Resigned  December  2015.
