History
This  stud  was  founded  about  1866  by  J.  Holden.  In  1968,  Allan  Holden  took  his  son,  G.H.  Holden,  into  a  partnership  which  traded  as  A.G.  Holden  Overdale.  In  1974,  the  partners'  wives,  Mrs.  F.L.  &  Mrs.  J.L.  Holden,  were  taken  into  the  partnership.  In  1978,  Mrs.  J.L.  Holden  withdrew  from  the  partnership.  In  1982,  a  company  was  formed  trading  as  A.  &  G.  Holden  Pty.  Ltd.
